Galileo's Cryobox™ technology selected for Major BOG Reliquefaction Project in Eastern USA

Galileo's technology will play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and sustainability of the LNG operations by minimizing Boil-off Gas (BOG) losses and maximizing the utilization of the stored LNG inventory.

Galileo Technologies, a leading provider of innovative cryogenic solutions, announced today that it has been selected by Matrix Service Inc., a leading specialty engineering and construction firm, to supply three Cryobox™ units for a peak shaving/backup fuel supply facility in the eastern USA. The Cryobox™ units will be utilized for the recovery and reliquefaction of Boil-Off Gas (BOG) at the facility.

This project is significant for Galileo as it establishes a strong reference with a major utility and a leader in the engineering and construction of small- to mid-scale LNG facilities. The Cryobox™ units will be manufactured in accordance with the stringent requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).

Galileo will provide comprehensive on-site support, including installation, commissioning, and operator training. The Cryobox™ units are scheduled to be shipped to the site in 2026.
